The Corte Metto Palace Museum is organised on four floors. Three of them are devoted to aspects that for centuries have been deeply characterizing the area of Central Cadore: Life and earth science (first floor), Archaeology (second floor), Minerals and mines (fourth floor), whereas the third floor hosts the Associazione Nazionale Alpini (National Association of the Italian Alpine Troops). The archaeological section contains and explains in a modern and accurate way the most significant finds discovered in the recent excavation of the shrine of Monte Calvario in Auronzo, as well as items coming from the settlement of Roman origin located in Auronzo.
