The archaeological area displays the rests of a Roman bridge with three arches, which was built between mid I century B.C. and mid II century A.D. on the Roman road “via Annia”.
History of research
The bridge was found and then excavated by the General Direction for Archaeological Heritage in the Veneto region in 1949.
